Privacy Policy
1. Controller
The data controller is Shunia Cultural Association (Asociación Cultural Shunia), Peru (legal name SHUNIA, RUC 20603312890) [registered address to be completed]. Contact: info@gurmukhiacademy.com. We follow Peru’s Personal Data Protection Law (Ley N.º 29733) and, where it applies to you, the GDPR.
2. What we collect and why
- Account: your email address (and, if you choose Google, your name and email from Google) to sign you in and link your purchase to you.
- Purchase: what you bought, when, and the order status, to give you access. Card details are handled by the payment provider and never reach us.
- Contact form: your name, email and message, sent to us by email so we can reply.
- Technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address and browser) kept by our hosting providers for security and operation.
We do not sell your data, show ads, or use advertising or analytics trackers.
3. On your device
The app stores your sign-in session and the app files in your browser (local storage and an offline cache) so it can keep you signed in and work offline. It does not use advertising cookies. You can remove this data at any time by signing out or clearing the site’s data in your browser.
4. Who processes data for us
To run the service we rely on: the Dishub platform (sign-in, orders and course media), Vercel (website hosting), Cloudflare (email delivery and media storage) and our payment provider. They process data only to provide their service to us. Some are located outside Peru; we use providers with appropriate safeguards.
5. How long we keep it
Account and purchase data for as long as you have access to the course and as required by tax and accounting law; contact messages for as long as needed to handle your request.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your data, or to receive a copy of it, by writing to info@gurmukhiacademy.com. You may also complain to Peru’s data protection authority (Autoridad Nacional de Protección de Datos Personales) or the authority in your country.
7. Children
The service is not directed to children under 14. If you believe a child gave us personal data without consent, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
