Terms of Service
1. Who we are
Gurmukhi Academy (gurmukhiacademy.com) is a service of Shunia Cultural Association (Asociación Cultural Shunia), a non-profit association established in Peru (legal name SHUNIA, RUC 20603312890) [registered address to be completed]. Technology is provided by Dishub. In these terms, “we” means Shunia Cultural Association (Asociación Cultural Shunia).
2. The service
Gurmukhi Academy is a web app to learn the pronunciation of the Gurmukhi alphabet and to chant Jap Ji Sahib and the Aquarian mantras. Part of the content is free (the first 5 sounds, the Sat Naam bonus track, karaoke previews and short Jap Ji and Mool Mantra previews). The rest is unlocked with lifetime access.
3. Account and sign-in
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email or with Google. Keep access to your email secure: access to the course is tied to it. You must give accurate information and be old enough to enter into a contract in your country, or have a parent or guardian’s consent.
4. Purchase and lifetime access
Lifetime access costs $39 (USD), paid once — it is not a subscription. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your card details. “Lifetime” means for as long as we operate the service; if we ever close it, we will give reasonable notice.
Refunds: all purchases are final and non-refundable. Lifetime access is a digital product delivered immediately, so by completing your purchase you agree that access starts right away and you waive any withdrawal period, except where applicable law grants you a right that cannot be waived. If you were charged by mistake or cannot access the course, write to info@gurmukhiacademy.com from the email you bought with and we will help.
5. Personal use
Your access is personal. You may not resell, share your account, or copy, download, redistribute or publicly perform the recordings, videos or texts beyond personal study and practice, except where the law allows it.
6. Content
The recordings, videos, images, texts and app design belong to Shunia Cultural Association (Asociación Cultural Shunia) or its licensors. Sacred texts such as Jap Ji Sahib and the mantras belong to their tradition; our recordings, transliterations, translations and presentation are protected.
7. Availability
We work to keep the service available but cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change or remove features.
8. Liability
The service is provided for educational and spiritual practice. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for access.
9. Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Peru, without prejudice to the consumer rights you have where you live.
